The Oscars are still over a month away, but many are already starting to make their picks for which films will win. Of course, there are plenty who still haven’t watched all the nominees for this year. Luckily for them, Cinemark will be hosting an Oscar movie marathon this year to give viewers the chance to finally see the nominated films ahead of this year’s Academy Awards.
Plano-based Cinemark Holdings, Inc. recently announced their annual Oscar movie marathon will return this year from March 6-12, just ahead of the Academy Awards on March 12. This year, theaters throughout the United States will show all the nominees for Best Picture, Best Live Action and Animated Short Film. According to Dallas Culture Map, tickets are now available and are being sold for $40.

The theaters in DFW showing the movie marathon will be Denton: Cinemark 14, Fort Worth: Ridgmar Mall, Grapevine: Cinemark Tinseltown, Plano: Cinemark Legacy and Plano: Cinemark West Plano. For anyone hoping to catch the movies before the awards are given out, this is their chance. Of course, plenty will just stick with judging the films without ever seeing them.
