We've dealt with the bird flu before as have we Mad Cow disease.  But combining the two?

We're not sure if that's exactly what's going on in the Texas Panhandle, but Texas Department of Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller says that cows at three dairies in the Texas Panhandle and another in Kansas have all been confirmed to have the bird flu.

Per NBC DFW, Miller said that consumers do not have to worry about drinking a bottle of bird flu themselves.

"No contaminated milk is known to have entered the food chain; it has all been dumped. In the rare event that some affected milk enters the food chain, the pasteurization process will kill the virus," he said.

Miller also added that "that rigorous safety measures and pasteurization protocols ensure that the dairy products remain unaffected by HPAI" and that there will be no supply shortages.

All the infected cattle are expected to fully recover from the flu.
