When Olivia Morris began planning her wedding to her boyfriend Bradley, she knew a plea she needed to make to make her dream wedding a reality.
She posted a video on TikTok stating, "His last name is Blizzard, so I need Dairy Queen to see this video and sponsor a Dairy Queen Blizzard bar because it just makes sense; what a fun last name, so Dairy Queen, help a girl out, please."
Yes, Bradley's last name is Blizzard, and Dairy Queen was more than happy to lend the Dallas couple a bone, or rather some sweet treats.
Lou Romanus, CEO of the Texas Dairy Queen Operator Council (TDQOC) responded, "From the moment we saw Olivia's TikTok, we knew we had to say 'I do' to this sweet idea.
"It's not every day you meet a couple whose last name is Blizzard. We're thrilled to help make their journey to the altar as joyful and memorable as possible."
According to the Dallas Observer, so far the collaboration between the couple and Daity Queen include an engagement shoot at a restaurant in Texas, along with personalized merchandise, gift card, and a custom "Mrs. Blizzard" jacket for the bachelor and bachelorette parties.
Morris said, "As avid fans of sweet treats – especially the Blizzard Treat – this partnership comes at a special time in our lives and has been such a dream.
"We are incredibly grateful for the love and creativity the Texas Dairy Queen Operators' Council has poured into making our wedding season unforgettable."
