The city of Dallas is currently facing a massive potential repair bill for its City Hall, and many leaders are considering just picking up shop and moving to a new locale.
One of the new locations being considered doesn’t really scream bureaucratic process. In fact, it’s probably more well known for the booking process many of its rowdier visitors end their nights with.
The Epic in Deep Ellum has been identified as a potential new site for Dallas City Hall.
According to WFAA, Joe Beard, president and CEO of Westdale, the lead developer of the building, said that The Epic provides an amenity-rich environment, which includes restaurants and entertainment options, and pits roximity to downtown Dallas.
“They [city officials] have been by numerous times, so I think we’re right up there as a very good choice,” he said. “We’re sitting right across the elevated freeway from downtown and we offer a great deal of parking."
