After serving customers for over 20 years, the Chuy’s on McKinney Ave in Dallas has been torn down to make way for a 12-story office tower.
This destruction has been a longtime coming; Chuy’s moved the restaurant to a new location on Greenville Ave. last spring.
Eventually, the site will be turned into a building so tall, “it'll be visible from Central Expressway,” according to the Dallas Morning News. The coming-soon structure, called Knox & McKinney, is expected to be finished in 2028.
