Dallas-based Smoothie King is catering to customers currently taking any GLP-1 medications, including Ozempic.
According to the Dallas Morning News, Smoothie King will begin selling five different "Ozempic Smoothies" in their 1,200 stores nationwide.
These drinks have names like "Slim N Trim," "The Gladiator," and "The Activator," and are made with 20 grams or more of protein and zero grams of sugar.
Smoothie King's CEO Wan Kim said in a statement, "With the rising use of GLP-1 medications across the country and our customer base, we want to ensure that Smoothie King provides the nutritional resources to match."
The drinks are currently available nationwide.
