TopGolf is a sensation, and a great blend of sports, entertainment, and dining. You don't need to be a golf expert to enjoy an evening at TopGolf.
The Dallas-based company JumpShot Inc. wants to take that same concept but apply it to a different sport. From their name, you can probably guess it's a TopGolf, but for basketball.
Since TopGolf is headquarters in Dallas, it made sense for JumpShot to set up shop here as well.
CEO Derrick Mayes told the Dallas Morning News, "For us, it made perfect sense to land in a community that was accepting of these types of eatertainment destinations. They've been very successful throughout the city and the entire D-FW metropolitan area."
Each JumpShot Live location will include a full restaurant and bar with custom-designed basketball gaming bays. There will be approximately 50 bays, large enough to accompany six players at a time.
Though the location in Dallas hasn't been finalized, Mayes says they expect to launch sometime in 2025, with another three locations slated to open in 2026.
