Being a fan of the Dallas Cowboys definitely has its ups and downs.
There have been quite a few more downs than ups since the Cowboys last went to the Super Bowl in 1996, but Cowboys fans year after year continue to prove to be among the most loyal and fervent.
And apparently, also one of the saddest.
The website Sportsbook Review used AI technology and combed through thousands of selfies from each NFL team, and their research found that Cowboys fans rank as the "fifth saddest" fanbase in the entire NFL!
Apparently, 7.7% of game day selfies from Cowboys fans show us in sorrow.
The five saddest fanbases in the NFL include:
1 - Atlanta Falcons – 9.9%
2 - Kansas City Chiefs – 8.0% Tied
3 - Seattle Seahawks AND Buffalo Bills 7.9%
5 - Dallas Cowboys – 7.7%
And on the flipside, the five happiest fanbases in the NFL include:
1 - Washington Commanders 61.0%
2 - Green Bay Packers 59.0%
3 - Tennessee Titans 57.4%
4 - Jacksonville Jaguars 55.5%
5 - New Orleans Saints 55.2%
