Plenty of businesses and people have moved to North Texas in the last couple of years, so you would think the Metroplex is a pretty desirable place to live, right?
Not according to the Canadian-based real estate and tourism marketing advisors Resonance Consultancy, where in their annual World Best Cities report Dallas took a significant tumble from their ranking last year.
Last year, Dallas came in as the No. 47 best city in the world. This year however, we fell nearly 30 spots all the way down to No. 73!
Not a definitive reason was given for Dallas' tumble; the report just mainly focused on Dallas' ability to show a thriving "economic reality," according to CultureMap Dallas.
Per the list, the top five best cities in the world are:
1 – London 2 – Paris 3 – New York 4 – Tokyo 5 – Singapore
