Former Super Bowl MVP Von Miller is coming home.
The DeSoto-native signed a one-year contract to play for his hometown Dallas Cowboys,
According to NBC DFW, Miller will be arriving in Oxnard to join the team today. The Cowboys only have two more full practices in California remaining. Their second preseason game is this Saturday against the Cardinals.
Miller went to DeSoto High School and played college ball at Texas A&M. He was awarded the Super Bowl MVP as a member of the Denver Broncos when they defeated the Seattle Seahawks in 2015. He won another Super Bowl with the Rams in 2021.
He is currently the NFL’s active leader in sacks and currently has a chicken farm that supplies product to local BBQ restaurants.
