With ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ finally hitting theaters over the weekend, fans are finally getting what they have waited years for. Fan anticipation was at an all-time high due to multiple delays, but many are already saying the wait was worth it. In celebration of the film finally being released, some DFW Airport employees decided to get in on the fun, showing off their acting skills by recreating scenes from the original ‘Top Gun’ movie.

A number of beloved characters from 1986’s ‘Top Gun’ have been brought back for the sequel, but DFW Airport clearly thinks the film forgot about a few people. The airport tweeted out a video recently showing some of their employees recreating moments form the film. “For Top Gun: Maverick's release this week, we dug back in our archives and found footage of our employees' casting call video for the original Top Gun,” the airport captioned the now viral video.

According to CW33, the video quickly went viral though not everyone was impressed. Based on their acting skills it seems the DFW Airport crew won’t be getting the call if they do another sequel.
