An international flight carrying 300 passengers heading to North Texas had to be diverted to New York after the plane experienced a plumbing problem in the sky.
American Airlines Flight 37 from Madrid to DFW was forced to make an emergency landing after six of the eight bathrooms stopped working.
Thankfully, bathrooms are not crucial to a plane’s landing system as pilots were able to safely land in New York and re-departed for DFW after a maintenance inspection.
American Airlines said in a statement per FOX 4, “We never want to disrupt our customers' travel plans and apologize for the inconvenience.”
American Airlines did not reveal what caused the plumbing problems on the plane.
