DFW Airport named one of the ten most expensive airports in the U.S.

No matter if you're heading out to or heading home from Spring Break, if your travels take you through DFW Airport your wallet will certainly be taking a hit.

A new survey from the travel magazine LocalsInsider named DFW one of the ten most expensive airports in America in 2025.


DFW ranked as the tenth-most expensive with the average price for a domestic flight costing $392.31.  The national average cost for a domestic flight across the nation is $365.64.

Despite the cost, prices to fly out of DFW have actually gone down since last year.  According to CultureMap Dallas, current average ticket prices are 4.6% cheaper than they were in 2024.

The most expensive airport in the nation is Washington Dulles International Airport, where average airfares come out to $472.61.
