There are many different ways one could describe DFW. While some focus on the growing, business side of the metroplex, others see the area as a vibrant, culturally diverse city. Now, a new study has given DFW a new adjective, resilient.

Real estate company Savills recently unveiled their 2022 Resilient Cities Index, and to the surprise of many DFW cracked the top 10; not just for America, but the entire world. According to Savills, DFW was ranked as the 10th most resilient city on earth, up from their previous spot of number 21. Some of the cities to beat out the metroplex included New York, London, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Tokyo, Berlin and Atlanta.

"The economic clout of the world's biggest cities, combined with the strength of their talent bases and tech sectors, form a virtuous circle to attract real estate investment," said Paul Tostevin, director in Savills World Research. In order to find the most resilient cities, Savills looks at Economic fundamentals, Knowledge economy and technology, ESG and real estate. Thanks to this study, DFW now has yet another thing to brag about.
