Any time there is a list comparing cities in the United States based on certain attributes, DFW usually fares pretty well. However, the question remains; how does the metroplex do when compared to cities around the world? Luckily, a recent study provided that answer, naming DFW on their list of the 20 wealthiest cities in the world.

Henley & Partners recently released a report on the world’s wealthiest cities, and America was well represented. In total, the United States had six cities in the top 20, with Texas claiming two of those spots. According to CW33, the list ranked DFW as the 18th wealthiest city in the world.

Also making the list from Texas was Houston at number eight. As for DFW, the report found that the metroplex has over 4,300 multi-millionaires, 211 centi-millionaires, and 18 billionaires. Seems like now North Texas has bragging rights over more than just the rest of the United States.
