There have been a number of touching tributes to late actor Chadwick Boseman recently, as last Sunday would have been his 44th birthday. Of all the acknowledgments, the most touching came from Disney, who changed the introduction to Boseman’s most iconic movie, ‘Black Panther.’ The film now includes a 30 second montage of Boseman clips at the start when streamed on Disney+.

Chadwick Boseman played T'Challa in the Marvel franchise, ‘Black Panther,’ and while he had a number of other memorable roles, many fans will remember his for his superhero character. Over the weekend, Disney CEO, Bob Iger, sent out a tweet letting fans know a special tribute to the late actor was on the way. The tribute ended up being anew opening credit sequence featuring 30 seconds of Boseman clips.

Iger called the change a “special tribute to someone that was and will always be near and dear to our hearts," Many fans were touched by the tribute, with a number watching the film to honor the late actor. While Disney has said they will eventually replace Boseman as Black Panther, many fans will always remember that role as Boseman’s.
