A problem all parents will have to face at one point or another is their child getting bullied at school.
There are a lot of methods to prevent or stop bullying, however we cannot recommend poisoning a child.
While not exactly "poisoning" a kid, a Texas mother has recently been arrested after she gave her son a drink to take to school in order to prevent bullying, and the concoction actually landed a student in the hospital.
According to Fox News, 45-year-old Jennifer Rossi sent her son to school with a drink that was found to contain "a mixture of lemon, salt and vinegar inside a sports drink bottle." Shortly after a child consumed the drink, he began experiencing nausea and a headache.
The child ended up going to the hospital, and an investigation by the Bexar County Sheriff's Office determined that Rossi mixed the drink "to allegedly prevent her son's drink from being stolen at school by other students."
The sheriff's office said, "Although, the contents of the drink were non-toxic, the incident resulted in a child being hospitalized.
"Hospital staff informed the investigator that the child victim required additional medical monitoring and would eventually be discharged from the hospital."
Rossi is facing charges of injury to a child resulting in bodily injury-reckless by omission.
