Over the last few years, there have been many big name companies that have decided to move their headquarters to Texas. With more and more people moving to the Lone Star State every day, yet another company recently decided to join the movement. Golf and entertainment company, Drive Shack, recently announced they have moved their headquarters from New York to DFW.

According to Drive Shack CFO, Michael Nichols, the publicly traded company moved their executive hub to Texas earlier this year. The company has already started making plans for DFW, including a new “modern spin on indoor mini golf” they call “puttery.” Speaking about the move, Drive Shack CEO, Hana Khouri, said “We believe 2021 will be an instrumental year for us as we advance our growth priorities throughout the year and beyond.”

Of course, Drive Shack will have some competition in DFW, as the Topgolf headquarters is located in Dallas as well, according to Dallas Business Journal. Many locals are excited to see what this new company brings to the area. It seems even more people will soon be moving south.
