It may be March, but that doesn’t mean people throughout North Texas aren’t already thinking about their favorite foods from the State Fair of Texas. Sadly, they won’t be able to stuff themselves with fried food until the fall, but luckily they will have a chance to get a small taste of the fair this weekend. In celebration of National Corn Dog Day, Fletcher’s Corny Dogs will be setting up a pop up shops in DFW to serve their famous dish to the metroplex.

Over the last few years, Fletcher’s Corny Dogs has expanded past the State Fair of Texas, occasionally opening up pop up shops throughout North Texas to serve up their beloved corn dogs in the offseason. The latest will occur this weekend in Dallas at the corner of Travis and Knox streets. According to D Magazine, the pop up will open on Saturday and run from 11 A.M. to 3 P.M.

Fletcher’s will also be setting up in Fort Worth for another pop up the day before. Friday’s pop up will take place at Rahr and Sons Brewing. While National Corn Dog Day may not be on everyone’s calendar, after this weekend it definitely will be.
