A flight earlier this week from Milwaukee to Dallas had to make an emergency landing after the crew experienced some issues with a traveler.

Despite being asked repeatedly, the first-class passenger refused to stop vaping on the flight.

According to the NY Post, the passenger allegedly "scoffed" at a flight attendant's repeated warnings and accused her of making false allegations against him.

The plane diverted to Tulsa, Oklahoma where police were waiting for the unruly passenger.

American Airlines said in a statement, "American Airlines Flight 1733, with service from Milwaukee, Wisconsin (MKE) to Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), diverted to Tulsa, Oklahoma (TUL) due to a disruptive customer.

"We thank our team for their professionalism and apologize to our customers for the inconvenience."

The plane stayed in Tulsa for about an hour before it took off for Dallas again, landing around 9:20 that evening.
