There was a buzz around Globe Life Field yesterday as the Rangers prepared for their second matchup against the Seattle Mariners.
And no, it wasn’t because of the hype around this team as they look to recapture the mojo that led them to a World Series championship in 2023.
It was quite literally, a buzz.
Rangers fans heading into the stadium were redirected from an area in Parking Lot B after a swarm of bees started collecting on one unlucky pickup truck parked in the lot.
According to WFAA, a small barrier was placed around the vehicle as officials worked on removing the bees.
Experts at the Clemson Cooperative Extension Home & Garden Information Center say this likely happened because the bees are trying to establish a new colony, and a queen has found its way into the area.
