Driverless rideshare vehicles are still very much a work in progress.
The kinks still need to be worked out before we’d trust stepping into one of those things.
In San Antonio, a Waymo driverless vehicle was captured attempted to enter the drive-thru the wrong way!
TikTok user Alyson Aranda shared a clip of the vehicle, as a San Antonio police officer tried to make heads to tales of the situation.
A self-driving car was involved in an incident at a local Whataburger, according to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).
Part of the moment was captured in a social media video published on Saturday, April 4.

Even worse, the Waymo was occupied, so the poor passenger had to just sit there while their Waymo was acting a fool!
An SAPD spokesperson said in an email statement to MySA.com, “Officers followed the procedure provided to access the Waymo and the vehicle was manually moved.”
