Back in 2008, one of DFW's most beloved restaurant chains closed their doors for good. However, over a decade later it has been announced that the chain will return to the metroplex. Steak and Ale, which was founded by the same restauranteur who founded Chili's, will bring its iconic salad bar back to North Texas, with the first location expected to open in 2024.
After weeks of rumors, Steak and Ale officially announced their return to DFW. According to WFAA, the restaurant chain will open their first location off of interstate 30 in Grand Prairie. The chain closed back in 2008 after going into bankruptcy.
Known for their various steaks, the restaurant advertised itself as an upscale experience with low prices. Of course, most remember it for their salad bar. Soon, DFW will get a taste of nostalgia once Steak and Ale returns.
