Anonymous Frisco resident wins $2 million in Texas Lottery on a $50 ticket

A Frisco resident is very happy with their $50 investment into the Texas Lottery after the scratch-off ticket resulted in a $2 million win.

According to FOX 4, the winning ticket was purchased at Tom Thumb at 4848 Preston Road in Frisco and was claimed on Feb. 18.

The winner asked to remain anonymous.

This prize was the first of four top prize-winning tickets worth $5 million in the Texas Lottery scratch ticket game Golden Riches.

There are approximately 4,651,020 tickets in Golden Riches, and the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.76, according to the Texas Lottery.
