Though summer doesn't officially begin until tomorrow, that hasn't stopped some critters around North Texas from making an early appearance.
NBC DFW is reporting that several residents of Frisco have noticed an uptick in bobcat sighting as of late, prompting "concerns about safety and wildlife management."
Pictures and video show bobcats wandering around neighborhoods in Frisco, running down streets during daylight hours scouring for food.
Frisco Animal Services said that this time of year, there is typically an increase in wildlife activity as animals like bobcats and coyotes are on the move.
Authorities are urging residents to "remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to minimize interactions with wild animals."
