The summer heat has been pretty brutal this year for North Texans, but luckily there are plenty of ways to cool off. Sadly, that’s not the case for dogs as many were forced to stay indoors this summer to avoid overheating, or burning paws. Luckily, the Frisco Water Park has decided to give dogs a treat before summer ends, throwing a dogs only pool party.
The Frisco Water Park recently announced plans for a “dogs allowed only” event on September 10. Dogs will be able to take advantage of all the park has to offer, including plenty of swim time. According to CW33, tickets cost $8, but there are a number of rules the dogs and their owner must follow.

At this event, humans won’t be able to swim, but each dog must be accompanied by someone at least 14 years old. The water park also asks people not to bring food for the dogs, and toys will be provided. To check out the rest of the rules click here. For dog lovers, this is the perfect way to end summer.
