It’s rare that someone wakes up in the morning after a night out and is happy about the amount of money they spent. However, a new study reveals for those living in Fort Worth it could be a lot worse. The study named Cowtown as the ninth most affordable city for night life in the entire country, with only one other Texas city in the top 10.

Price-monitoring website PriceListo recently unveiled the results of a study to find the cheapest US cities for a night out. Looking at data from cities with populations above 500,000 and comparing the average price of a cocktail, cab fare, bottle of wine, pint of beer and median price for a single-night stay in the city, the study determined it only costs an average of $172.14 for a night in Fort Worth. According to Fort Worth Culture Map, that amount placed Fort Worth 9th on the list, behind Las Vegas, San Antonio, Oklahoma City, San Francisco, Fresno, Albuquerque, Jacksonville and Philadelphia.

As for the most expensive cities, Austin placed third on the list with an average cost of $221.23 for a night out. Houston also made the most expensive list, placing ninth. This is yet another reason why DFW will always be superior.
