The Dallas Wings are currently preparing for the beginning of their 2026 campaign, as well as the opening of their new $81 million practice facility in West Oak Cliff.
Per WFAA, during a press conference yesterday, Wings head coach Jose Fernandez also appeared to reveal that the team will have a new home arena during the 2027 season.
The Wings currently call College Park Center in Arlington in Arlington home and have played their home games there since their inception as a franchise in 2016. However, Fernandez revealed that the team is planning on playing all of their home games in 2027 at the American Airlines Center.
College Park Center has a capacity of 7,000. American Airlines Center can seat 20,000.
The team is still waiting for renovation to Memorial Auditorium, which could serve as their home arena beginning in 2028.
The Wings open up their season Tuesday, May 12 against the Atlanta Dream in Arlington.
