Recently, American River Wellness set out to discover the most “passive-aggressive roads in the nation, exploring roads where “everyday driving manners seem to disappear, turning commuting into a daily test of patience.”

According to CW33, the research focused on “places where small acts of discourtesy stack up, leaving drivers feeling more tense, irritated and worn down before reaching their destinations.”

Texas is well represented on this list.

Westheimer Road in Houston cracked the top ten, South Congress Avenue in Austin came in at No. 12, and Greenville Ave in Dallas ranked No. 13.

The study wrote that Greenville Avenue, “with its neighborhood charm, nightlife traffic, restaurant stops, parked cars, pedestrians, side streets and delivery chaos, causes irritation that is smaller, closer and more personal—one block, one blinker, one guarded gap at a time.”

The most passive-aggressive road in the nation was found to be Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles.
