McKinney National Airport is ready for liftoff.

DFW’s third major airport has announced the launch of its first five nonstop destinations courtesy of Avelo Airlines.

According to WFAA, the airline will fly from McKinney to Las Vegas, Nevada, and four Florida cities: Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Orlando, and Tampa.

Some routes will operate two flights per week, while others will run up to five.

Avelo CEO Andrew Levy says the destinations were carefully chosen. “

These are five of the most popular leisure destinations in the U.S.,” he said. “These are markets that have wide appeal and the Florida market starting in the middle of November is perfect timing as you go at the time of year when Florida gets really popular.”

The first flights begin on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.
