Over the weekend, celebrity chef Guy Fieri held a meet-and-greet at Spec’s in Dallas where he signed autographs and took photos with fans in order to promote his tequila brand Santos Spirits.

Spec’s wasn’t his only stop in North Texas, though.

According to CultureMap Dallas, Fieri also brought a camera crew in tow in order to film future episodes of his Food Network show Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives!

Evidently, six local restaurants will be featured in upcoming episodes, all of which who signed nondisclosure agreements.  However, residents noticed sudden weekend closures of Soulman's Bar-B-Que in Pleasant Grove and Slow Bone in the Design District.

Additionally, according to a post on Facebook, Fieri and his crew were spotted shooting at Starship Bagel in Lewisville on December 6.

Over the years, around two dozen area restaurants have been featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, including Afrah, Avila's, Cane Rosso, Chef Point, CrushCraft Thai Street Eats, Fred's Texas Cafe, Jamaica Gates Caribbean Cuisine, Louie's, Maple & Motor, Nora Restaurant and Bar, One90 Smoked Meats, Original Chop House Burger, Pecan Lodge, Pepe & Mito's, Prince Lebanese Grill, Tacos Mariachi, Taste of Europe, Tutta's Pizza, Twisted Root Burger, and Whistle Britches.
