While celebrating the opening of their first location in Tarrant County, H-E-B has found itself in a little bit of a frozen dilemma.
The store sent out a notice to all customers and issued a recall of their 12-count packages of 3-ounce cups of Creamy Creations Ice Cream after they were have found to contain metal.
According to NBC DFW, H-E-B said the products were distributed to all H-E-B stores in Texas and Mexico, Central Market, Joe V's Smart Shop, and Mi Tienda stores.
The list of affected ice creams include:
-H-E-B Creamy Creations Ice Cream 3-oz (Chocolate) / UPC: 4122062948
-H-E-B Creamy Creations Ice Cream 3-oz (Lime/Orange sherbet Combo) / UPC: 4122081930 -H-E-B Creamy Creations Ice Cream 3-oz (Homemade Vanilla/Chocolate Combo) / UPC: 4122081931.
Officials say no injuries have been connected to the ice cream, but customers who purchased them are advised to return them to the store for a full refund.
