While Houston may still be licking the wounds of their ALCS defeat at the hands of the Texas Rangers, the city does have something to celebrate.

H-Town was recently named one of the best cities in the country for vampires!

The rankings come from a study conducted by LawnLove.com who looked at a number of factors including: the number of warm bodies; blood centers; slaughterhouses; casket suppliers; homes with basements; and "vampire-friendly clubs."

The study also looked at a number of deterrents for each city, including: the "average percentage of sunshine"; Christian churches; herb and spice shops; and garlic festivals.

Based on these factors, Houston was found to be the sixth best city in the county for vampires, bested only by Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Columbus, Chicago, and New York, which came in at No. 1.

Dallas ranked in as the No. 151 best city for vampires, and Fort Worth came in at No. 181.

Vampires aren't safe everywhere in Texas though, as Odessa ranked in the ten WORST cities for vampires in the country.
