If you're a parent of kid out of school for the summer, how many times have they complained to you about being bored and having nothing to do?

If you live in Irving, your kids might actually be onto something.

In honor of National Parks & Recreation month, WalletHub put together a list of the best and worst cities across the nation for "Recreation," and Irving didn't fare too well.

In fact, Irving ranked as the third worst city in the nation for recreation, following only Chula Vista and Oakland, both in California.

WalletHub based their rankings on 47 different factors of "recreation-friendliness," including "the availability and cost of recreational activities, along with the quality of parks and the weather."

The ten best cities for recreation, according to WalletHub, include:

1 – Las Vegas, NV
2 – Orlando, FL
3 – Tampa, FL
4 - Cincinnati, OH
5 – Honolulu, HI
6 – Scottsdale, AZ
7 – San Diego, CA
8 – St. Louis, MO
9 – Atlanta, GA
10 – New Orleans, LA
