Though mainly known for his music, Kanye West has attempted careers in a number of different industries. While some he has found success, such as fashion, others like his political aspirations, haven’t quite met his high standards. Now, a new venture has been revealed, as a former Nintendo executive revealed recently he turned down the chance to collaborate with Kanye West on a video game while with the company.

Former president and COO of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aimé, recently discussed a meeting he had with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian after an E3 show several years ago. “He was experimenting with a piece of video game content. He wanted reactions to it. He comes out and says, 'I want to work with Nintendo.' We had so many different projects at Nintendo going on, the possibility of doing something with Kanye just wasn't there, and so I had to find a way to politely decline this opportunity to work with him,” said Fils-Aimé.

While not much is known about the game Kanye West wanted to create, many fans are hoping the game gets made. Of course, West is not known for responding well to being told “No.” Hopefully this doesn’t start a rivalry between West and Nintendo.
