There may be no actor as dedicated to their job as Keanu Reeves is. While plenty of actors have different strategies for becoming the role they are playing, none put in the level of work that Reeves does. Now, the actor has shared details about his preparation for ‘John Wick 4’ and this time it involves the actor riding horseback.

Keanu Reeves is no stranger to riding horseback, previously showing off his riding skills in ‘John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.’ However, the actor claims he stepped things up for the latest installment of the franchise. “There’s a sequence—hopefully, knock on wood, in John Wick 4, the opening sequence. John Wick is back in the desert on a horse. I’m going to hopefully be able to fast-gallop and run,” said Reeves.

According to Movie Web, Reeves had to undergo further training, with a focus on galloping, in order to make the scene believable. “Ish. That’s why I’m going to training,” said Reeves when asked about his readiness to horseback ride. Maybe by the eighth film, ‘John Wick’ will be a full blown western.
