The holiday season is all about giving back, but apparently one man in Fort Worth didn’t get the memo. The man was caught on security cameras stealing the Baby Jesus from the Sundance Square nativity scene over the weekend. Now, the owners are asking for help getting it back before Christmas.
Early Saturday morning, a man in Fort Worth walked up to the Sundance Square nativity scene, and took the piece representing Baby Jesus. The theft occurred around 2 a.m. and 2:20 a.m. and the Sundance Square security team contacted police minutes after the theft. "Help us identify the man who stole baby Jesus from our Nativity in Sundance Square," read an Instagram post showing a photo of the man stealing the piece.

According to NBC DFW, the man is yet to be identified, but a criminal investigation has been launched. Hopefully the Baby Jesus statue is returned before Christmas. If not, it probably means a lump of coal this year for the thief.
