However, one man managed to screw things up in a completely new way over the weekend. His attempt at a sporting event marriage proposal was ruined when he wasn’t in his seat when the message appeared on the jumbotron.
There are many reasons people shouldn’t attempt the jumbotron marriage proposal, and now a new one can be added to the list. On Sunday, a man planned for his marriage proposal message to appear on the jumbotron at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami during halftime. However, when the message finally came the camera cut to a woman sitting at her seat alone.
According to New York Post, the man returned shortly after, and the camera eventually showed the couple together. Luckily she still said yes, even though the man was late to his own marriage proposal. Hopefully he has better timing the day of their wedding.
