However, apparently one criminal was never a fan of the crime movie genre, as he attempted another way to avoid police. As seen in a recent viral video, the man is in a police chase, but instead of driving a car he is rollerblading.
Despite doing something to cause the police to chase after him, many online are now calling the man in the viral video a "legend" for his attempt to outrun the police on rollerblades. According to Brobible, the incident took place in Door County, Wisconsin, as someone films the police chase from a balcony above the road. Since being shared online, the video has been viewed over 7.5 million times.
It is unknown if the man got away from the police, or if he was eventually caught and charged with a crime. Still, many were impressed by the man's speed on rollerblades. Hopefully this doesn't lead to more rollerblading crimes in the future.
