New poll ranks Mavs fans the most foul-mouthed and negative fanbase in sports

It has not been the most ideal year for Mavs fans.

We’re still dealing with the fallout of the Luka trade, and this year new season has been anything but exceptional.  Mavs fans have a lot to complain about.

And they do.

A new poll from Vegas Insider found Mavs fans to be the most foul-mouthed and negative fanbase in all of sports.

According to the poll, 17.071% of all Mavs’ fans posts on Reddit contained some sort of foul language, topping more than 150 professional sports franchises across the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and MLS.

Mavs fans turned out to be the most negative, with 31.921% of the fandom’s comments were classified as negative.  The New Orleans Pelicans, whom the Mavs lost to on Wednesday, and the Memphis Grizzlies, whom the Mavs play tonight, were the second and third most negative fanbases.

The most polite sports fandom was found to be CF Montréal of the MLS, and the most positive was the Utah Jazz of the NBA.
