This summer, Ripley’s Believe it or Not in Grand Prairie! is celebrating Marilyn Monroe in honor of her 100th birthday.
They have her infamous dress she wore when she sang “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” to JFK, and now the museum is looking for any and all Marilyn Monroe lookalikes to gather together and compete for a cash prize.
Ripley’s is holding a Monroe Look-Alike contest, where contestants will be judged on “attire, presentation, personality, audience response and overall resemblance to Monroe’s iconic persona,” according to CW33.
Potential contests can sign up HERE to participate. The competition is being held on July 11.
The first-place winner will take home a $500 cash prize, a Ripley’s merchandise basket valued up to $100, a family four-pack of attraction tickets and inclusion in the 2027 edition of the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Annual book.
