Musicians are always looking for new ways to get their songs noticed. While some hope their music is enough to gain them attention, sometimes an artist needs a gimmick to take their work to the next level. That's why one singer recently decided to share a cover of the Metallica song, 'Ride the Lighting,' but done in the voice of the Disney character, Goofy.
YouTuber Paul Farrell has shared videos of himself playing guitar in the past, but for his latest video he decided to try something different, according to Loudwire. As seen in the clip, the musician sings along to Metallica's 'Ride the Lightning,' but in the style of Goofy. "I'm a grown-ass adult and I sang 'Ride the Lightning' as Goofy," said Farrell.
Many online were impressed by the musician's impression, asking for him to share a full cover of the song, or cover other songs as Goofy as well. It is unknown if Farrell plans to start making more Goofy inspired videos. If a career in music doesn't work out, at least he knows he can go work at Disney World as a singing Goofy.
