Blue Goose Cantina has been serving up Tex-Mex to DFW since the 1980's. Over the years they have opened multiple locations throughout the metroplex, becoming a local favorite for many. However, it was recently announced the original location on Greenville Avenue in Dallas will soon close.

On March 19, Blue Goose Cantina on Greenville Avenue will close their doors for good after nearly 40 years. According to Fox 4 News, the restaurant is currently looking for potential new locations to move to in the area. Locations in Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Highland Village, Grapevine and Fort Worth will remain open, with another location in Grand Prairie set to open this month.

While many were disappointed the original Blue Goose is closing, the restaurant said they still plan to throw a huge celebration for the Greenville Avenue St. Patrick's Day Parade. Those hoping to get one last taste of the original Blue Goose Cantina only have a few more weeks to do so. After that, they will have to venture to a new location.
