One of the most recognizable homes in DFW recently hit the market and it comes with quite a history. The Arlington home was previously owned by late Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul and has achieved legendary status in the area thanks to the numerous stories involving the property, including one featuring the Dallas Stars and the Stanley Cup. Now, the home is looking for a new owner, but they will have plenty to live up to.
The 3,784-square-foot home previously owned by Paul sits on a nearly one-and-a-half-acre plot, and includes four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, and an outdoor pool, spa, and sauna. It has a distinct look thanks to the 30-foot barrel ceilings in the main living area, which from the outside look like small silos, according to Dallas Culture Map. The home located at 1209 Hickory Valley Ct. is currently listed for $750,000.
While the specs of the home are great, the best part is its history. Legend has it former Dallas Stars player Guy Carbonneau once threw the Stanley Cup from the home's balcony during a party, leaving a three-inch dent in the most recognizable trophy in pro sports. Whoever buys the house will hopefully make some legendary stories of their own.
