People from Texas often have to explain to residents of other states that they don’t actually live on a farm, and ride horses everywhere they go. While there is still plenty of farmland throughout the Lone Star state, most cities and suburbs are just as modern as any other region. However, what happened in Plano last week won’t help anyone in the metroplex dispute these myths, as Plano police were recently called to a scene where a herd of calves took over a busy intersection.

Drivers in Plano were stunned last week when a busy intersection was taken over by a group of wandering calves. According to Fox 4 News, Plano police were called to the scene near the intersection of Parker and Jupiter, where they attempted to get the herd back to its farm. “It doesn’t happen often but when it does our Officers mooove in and take control,” the Police department captioned their now viral video.

In total, there were about two dozen calves in the herd. Eventually, police were able to get them back to the farm and luckily, no people or calves were injured. Hopefully the next time this happens, no one captures video so Texans don’t have to keep trying to prove that they don’t live on a farm.
