A lot of couples have moved to Texas because the Lone Star State has proven to be a wonderful place to raise a family.

One of the best spots to do so is right here in North Texas.

WalletHub recently released a study of the best (and worst) places to raise a family in the US and amongst 180 cities, Plano ranked No. 4!

Plano fell just behind Fremont, CA., Overland, KS, and Irvine, CA in the study which analyzed the cost of housing, the quality of local schools, and an analysis of the healthcare system in each city.

Per NBC DFW, Plano ranked fourth in socio-economics, fifth in health and safety, and seventh in affordability in the country.

As far as North Texas, Plano wasn't alone on the list, though.

Grand Prairie came in the rankings at No. 63 spot, Fort Worth ranked at the No. 86, Irving ranked at the No. 97 spot, Arlington ranked at the No. 99 spot, Garland ranked at No. 111, and Dallas ranked No. 141.

According to WalletHub, the worst city to raise a family is Memphis, Tennessee.
