21-year-old Juniper Bryson was recently arrested by the Harris County Sheriff's Office after it was discovered she was attempting to sell her unborn baby on Facebook Marketplace.

According to PEOPLE, Bryson allegedly posted to a Facebook group that connects birth mothers with families interested in adoption, and that she was willing to travel anywhere from Houston to hand over the baby.

She was contacted by a couple from Louisiana, whom Bryson asked for money and food.  They sent her $25, to which a few hours later she asked for an additional $150.  The couple eventually returned to Louisiana, after which Bryson allegedly said, "If the baby wasn't worth $200 to them, then screw all."

Bryson went into labor in September, where Houston police say she was still waiting "for the highest bidder."

The police were notified of Bryson trying to sell her baby on Facebook, and Bryson was eventually arrested for "sale or purchase of a child."

She has revoked her custody of the newborn.  She is currently being held on $30,000 bond.
