Texans don't just like to argue their state is the best in America, they also like to argue their city is the best in Texas. Residents are constantly trying to prove why their city is better than the rest, and one thing that often gets brought up is food. Well luckily for DFW, a new report recently named a local deli not just the best in Texas, but one of the best in the entire country.
Eat This, Not That recently unveiled their list of the best delis in every state. For Texas, the top choice was none other than Grapevine's Weinberger's Deli. "The menu is massive, but the Joe King Pastrami is considered the deli's standout. It's made on toasted marble rye with hot pastrami, melted Swiss cheese, creamy coleslaw, red onion, and Russian dressing," said the report.
According to CW33, Weinberger's Deli features deli meats, beef, cheesesteaks, subs, Cubanos, turkey/chicken, sausages, super sandwiches, pork, crazy sandwiches, and more. The popular deli is located at 601 S Main St. Thanks to this deli, DFW has another way to prove it's the best.
