This summer, parents will no longer be able to drop their teens off for an afternoon at Six Flags.

The theme park is bringing back their chaperone policy, which states that all guests under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a chaperone.

According to NBC DFW, chaperones must provide a valid government I.D. at entry for those entering the park after 4 p.m.

One chaperone may accompany no more than 10 juvenile guests and must remain inside the park during their entire visit, and the park warned guests 15 or younger found without a chaperone could be ejected from the park.

Six Flags officials hope these changes will "help ensure a positive, safe, and fun environment for generations to come."

The park said in a statement, "Over the past few years, there have been increasing incidents of unruly and inappropriate behavior at amusement parks and other major entertainment venues.

"This policy is being put in place to ensure that all guests have the best time ever and leave happy and eager to visit again."

The park also announced they will no longer accept cash.  Tickets, restaurants, retail stores, and parking toll booths will only accept card payments using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, or a debit card.
