Last year, Six Flags announced the closing of two roller coasters to make way for a new "record-breaking dive roller coaster."

Now, records from the Federal Aviation Administration have confirmed a few more details about the coaster, including its massive height.

According to the records, the new coaster will stand 309 feet tall, making it among the tallest rides currently at Six Flags.  Also, the coaster will be placed on the former site of the La Vibora bobsled ride, which closed last year to make way for it.

At 309-feet, this new coaster would become the tallest ride at Six Flags.  According to WFAA, the current tallest ride The Titan tops out at 245-feet.

We'll all have to wait to enjoy the ride, however.  The filings show a work schedule of March 1, 2025 to March 30 of 2026, so we shouldn't expect the new coaster to open until late spring/early summer 2026 at the earliest.
